The Homestead is a
Beautiful Historic
18th century
farm house that is nestled in on a
146 acre farm
and has been restored in colonial fashion which offers a peaceful "Home Away
From Home" atmosphere.
With 3,000 square feet of space, there is
plenty of room for all your get-away needs.
The Homestead offers you four
bedrooms which comfortably sleep 10 people
being there are
four double and two single beds which are ready for a good nights sleep.
We
also provide
you with Air Conditioning, Wi-Fi and all of your Linens, pillows, and towels
along with a washer and dryer for your use.
At the Homestead you will also find a ready to use fully
functional kitchen including
stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, electric
roaster, pancake griddle, pots, pans, dishes,
silverware, coffee pot, toaster and even includes all of your cooking spices.
Out and about the Homestead you will find so much to do.
You will be able to take a
walk on one of the many paths strewn throughout the 146 acres and also take
advantage of
our
challenging 9 hole par 3 golf course, in-ground pool,
two ponds with one being located behind
the house and is available for
fishing and
the other is located in front of the house and is
often visited by Canada Geese
or, if frozen, can be used for ice skating depending upon the season of
course and additionally
we do offer boat parking with Raystown Lake being just a few minute drive from
the homestead.
During the summer months you can spend your day lounging around our in ground
pool
working on your tan or spend the day splashing around with your kids. We also
provide a place
to play
horseshoes and volleyball with
the nets provided or as the sun starts to set spend the
evening rocking on
the porch to witness
some of the most spectacular sunsets that are truly
breathtaking and watch the
wildlife that has also claimed the homestead as part of their own
including Hawks, deer,
pheasants, squirrels and more.
Prices start at $300 depending on the number of persons in your group.

Once
the sun does go down you can spend the
evening cooking and sitting around the fire ring
with wood provided telling stories and most
importantly making memories that will last a lifetime.
